"Selain itu, Wakil Direktur Penjara Al-Munawara di selatan kota Al-Mukalla juga ditahan untuk diinterogasi," demikian laporan televisi pemerintah Yaman, Sabtu (25/6). Namun tidak ada penjelasan lebih rinci tentang kasus ini.

Amerika Serikat dan Arab Saudi khawatir, Yaman—yang diguncang protes rakyat selama berbulan-bulan—akan terjerumus dalam kekerasan yang akan dieksploitasi oleh sayap lokal Al-Qaidah untuk melancarkan serangan di wilayah tersebut dan sekitarnya.

Peneliti dari universitas di Costa Rica dan Amerika Serikat (AS) menemukan spesies baru yang diberi nama ‘Johngarthia Cocoensis’ di sebuah pulau di Samudera Pasifik. Menurut peneliti, karakteristik pembeda kepiting ini terletak pada ukurannya yang bisa mencapai 40 cm.

Ada Tiga Masjid Lagi di Medan Bakal Digusur

"Setelah Masjid Al-ikhlas, masih ada tiga masjid lagi yang bakal digusur," papar Heriansyah, Ketua Forum Umat Islam (FUI) Medan, Sumatera Utara, saat memaparkan laporan temuan Ormas Islam Sumut kepada MUI, Selasa (21/6).

Ada pun tiga masjid yang bakal digusur antara lain Masjid Ar-rahman yang berlokasi di jalan Pelita II serta Masjid Nurul Hidayah dan masjid yang berlokasi di Jalan lampu. "Ketiga masjid ini digusur lantaran bakal dibangun perumahan mewah," papar dia.

Bahkan, menurut Heri, dua dari tiga masjid sudah dipasangi papan pengumuman kepemilikan. "Persoalannya sama dengan masjid lain yang sudah dulu digusur. Ada semacam pemaksaan," kata dia.

Oleh karena itu, Heri meminta MUI untuk meninjau situasi di lapangan dan diharapkan bisa mencegah terjadinya penggusuran lebih banyak lagi. "Kepada siapa lagi kami meminta pertolongan. Sebab, persoalannya sudah demikian parah," pungkas dia.

Menciptakan Robot yang Tahu Diri

 KOMPAS.com - Tim peneliti Hasegawa Group di Tokyo Institute of Technology, Jepang mengembangkan robot yang punya kemampuan untuk berpikir secara mandiri. Robot tersebut menggunakan teknologi yang disebut Self-Organising Incremental Neural Network (SOINN) sehingga sanggup mengambil keputusan saat menjalankan tugas-tugasnya yang belum selesai.

Ketika dihadapkan pada satu tugas baru, robot ini bisa diajari cara penyelesaian. Petunjuk tersebut secara otomatis tersimpan di ingatannya.

"Sejauh ini robot-robot yang ada, termasuk robot industri, dapat melakukan tugas-tugas spesifik dengan cepat dan akurat. Namun jika lingkungan mereka berubah sedikit saja, robot tidak mampu merespon, menyesuaikan," kata Osamu Hasegawa, ilmuwan yang turut mengembangkan teknologi SOINN di laboratorium, menjelaskan latar belakang pembuatan robot.
